What's wonderful about the creative process is that it's full of surprises, accidents, and uncertainties.
For this first collection, I didn't really have a theme in mind, but I knew what I was immersed in and what my influences were for summer pieces: vibrant colors, a Latin character, tailored yet easy-to-wear lines. I wanted to work with the combination of pink and red, and it all started when I stumbled upon this fabric in a showroom dedicated to luxury deadstock.
From this fabric, I redesigned my silhouettes (the look of the garment depends as much on the desired style as on the chosen material). This perpetual back and forth between imagination and reality fascinates me. Then, I sourced other materials, with the desire to vary textures and colors to create a unique sensoriality, to play with contrasts.
A matte candy-pink crepe from the 60s. A rayon-cotton with unparalleled fluidity and a perfect red. An absolutely vibrant fuchsia cotton batiste. I chose to work with deadstock for its quality and circularity, but above all for its creative richness. Thus, I completed my assortment of materials with 2 printed fabrics (striped and psychedelic) that I was able to integrate as accents.
But why "Mas Amor Por Favor"?

Well, I believe I've been fascinated by the Hispanic world in recent years. There was that trip to Colombia that marked the end of my permanent contract, the search for colors and inspirations in Catalonia, the tireless listening to Rosalía and Rigoberta Bandini since lockdown... Moreover, my graduation project was inspired by Delpozo and Loewe, two Spanish houses. So after being immersed for 2 years in this universe, I believe that Mas Amor Por Favor was a way to retranscribe this unique, warm, and passionate atmosphere that invites you to dance, stay up late, and love always a little more intensely.
